About Iain & Jo
It all started at a friend’s house party and within 6 months we’d booked a 12-month backpacking trip around the world together.
We chased Ben Harper across the USA, hiked with monkeys in Costa Rica, got “The Mummy Tummy” in Egypt like most travellers do, and had adventures all over Europe and Asia.
Back in Melbourne, Jo started work as a journalist, where she’d spend a decade interviewing amazing people and eventually writing a magazine’s travel section (those free trips – take me back!!!).
Iain came home with a love of photography and an empty bank account. He’d spend a decade in IT as a business analyst before going back to study as a photographer. The skills he learned in those years have been invaluable in our own studio and helping others with Simplify Your Studio.
Since then we’ve had two crazy kids, gone on lots more adventures, built up our photography business, hired and trained a team and launched Simplify Your Studio to help you work smarter and have more time for your own adventures.
